Last week I started the slow process of cleaning out my desk at work. Soon I will start training my replacement and I don't want them to feel like they are invading my space. I opened up the drawer on my desk and found this.
Note from Eric
A sweet note from my hubby. What a treat to find it on a day that was a wee bit melancholy (I really have enjoyed my job).
Note from EricI also re-discovered another note he had left for me in my drawer. Maybe my replacement would be a little freaked out if they found them, so it's best that I take them with me.
My Handsome husband.I was reminded of how very excited I am to embark on this new adventure with Eric. A move. A baby. Life is changing, but some things never will.

I like the beard ... very Van Gogh. :)
I love finding long forgotten notes like that. It makes them special once again!
You two never fail to make me smile! x
I also found my husband's romantic notes one day. Made me wonder. I haven't gotten those in a long time. I guess we're both just too busy these days.
I'm not missing my work at all. Been home for two years now and even though I had an interesting job, there are a million better things I can do at home. And the time spent with your child is priceless.
PS. Beautiful ice photos!
How wonderful! I enjoy reading about Eric and your love story. ;-)
i think beards are very becoming on an already handsome man . . . i am biased, though. :)
moving has lots of melancholy moments. it's so good that you are moving with your honey. and that you two love adventures. it's going to be a good one! in know it.
hugs!
I was just cleaning out my text messages...my box was getting too full. I'm such a cheese-ball, I can't just erase them (the ones more detailed than 'I love you'), I note them in a little book.
How beautiful. You are a very lucky lady!
