We're in for it now.

Cordelia is climbing. I am just going to come out and say it, the girl has no sense. She climbs and then she tries her new skill of "jumping" which is just rapidly bending her knees and flailing about. She's not even one yet, isn't this stuff supposed to be a bit more gradual?

So cute! Keep your kitchen cabinets closed or you'll find her on top of the fridge...not that I've ever done that...

I love it! Elijah and her are so close in milestones... it's fun to watch... he is a climber too... We have a computer station, which was not well baby proofed... all kinds of cords to get into. Well I put up a bin barrier thinking that would do it... nope in about a day he figured out how to climb up on them! I have to be careful about where I put bins or else he'll be into something or somewhere I didn't intend for him to be. :) PS. when I show Elijah her pictures he gets a big smile! He loves seeing other little people!

My brother didn't walk until he was 15 months old or so -- my mom and I babied him and carried him EVERYWHERE -- but he climbed over everything that would stand still starting around 6 months. Be prepared for chipped baby teeth. :-)

She is a doll! Lucas is not quite that brave yet. My girls were climbers, but he has yet to try it yet.

How happy is she that she made it up there though!

I have a nephew who used to climb onto his window sill which was about 1/4 of an inch, mind you) and stand up there, watching cars go by and looking for all the world like one of those garfield sucker toys for the car. That was endlessly amusing ... for everyone but his momma.
