i agree with your mom. :) i love the two small someones who live in my house. though it is interesting to speculate about the someones they will grow up to be, and to think and pray about what i have to do with that . . .
I 100% agree with this. I have always believed that I must respect my children {!} as the individuals they are in order to encourage an open and trusting relationship with them as adults. They are not toys or experiments or lesser beings. They are people, complete unto themselves. And again, you said it more eloquently and more succinctly than I, lol.
