Love this quote ~ isn't it the truth?
And adults must be giants to the "little" ones.
I like that perspective!
I just fell in love with your blog all over again. I adore this quote and it suits little boys, too. I had a psy prof who told us that kids DO see us as giants in a way. We asked what he meant and he elaborated that we're so big to them, we have all the power and control and people generally believe adults over children. He told us to be careful with the hurting kids, because they see all anger as danger, even anger in defense of THEM. That one sentence always hits home when I'm with children and I'm angry, (because, yes, I do occasionally show anger in front of kids.) That class was when I found the root to explain my mothering: Respect for my children as people first rather than beginning when they're grown.Whoa. That was kind of a novel, haha. But I really love that quote.
And what a lovely life-sized girl she is! :)
