We went to three playgrounds yesterday. The dogs were walked. Sunscreen was amply applied. Heaven forbid that we become any shade darker than transparent.
We visited a state park and let the girls explore and wade in a small lake. They were delighted by loads of fish that swam by their ankles. We spotted crawdads and dragonflies. We watched the clouds.
We drove to a nearby town, explored a bit and played on their playground. When we made it home we ate dinner on the back patio and played and lounged in the yard until it was time for the girls to go to sleep.
