Navy Jumper

Look, it is not my job to tell you how to live your life (although I would be happy to do that if there are good benefits), but let me drop some knowledge on you right are gonna want to sit down lest you get knocked over by a tidal wave of adorable that is about to come your way.

Are you ready?

Let’s do this thang!

A long time ago there was a little boy named Dave Wimmer. For some reason Lil’ Boy Dave’s parents wanted to dress him as a wee sailor. To be honest I kinda get it...

Look at what a cutie he is in his mini Navy Jumper. I am not sure how old he was, around 4ish.

Fast forward to the 1980s and feel the power of tiny Eric wash over you!

That is right, this cutie was my future mister! His little eyebrows kill me! I actually feel pain in my heart from this cuteness.

Then Eric and I spent ten magical years with this little suit biding its time in the bowels of our closet; waiting for the day that we too could force our offspring to dress in this little outfit.

Here is Cordelia at age 4.5! Ahhh! I can’t even handle it. Those cheeks! Those blue eyes! I can still hear her tiny voice. I’m not crying, you’re crying.

And while we are all definitely not weeping over the passage of time here we come to the number 4 wearer of this time-traveling ensemble. Elise had to wait an extra year as she is rather petite. In the past six months Elise has had a several inch growth spurt and we realized her window was closing!

We HAD to get the photo in the tiny suit! She was ready! This is her day and her time to shine! Wahooo! She has Eric’s eye shape doesn’t she?! And that dimple is enough to melt the hearts of frozen giants (I am not sure what that means, just go with it).

So we did it.

Now we will put this tiny outfit into the depths of our closet to await potential future grandkids.
