Last Yellow House Easter

Yesterday we celebrated our last Easter in the yellow house. My mom offered to host as we are in the midst of packing, but I really wanted to have one last Easter in our home.

Easter ladies.

Snuggling on the couch while I made linner (lunch+dinner= linner).

My parents came over and did a video call with Ben, Sara, and baby Hila.

Look how charmed they are by Hila! I cannot wait to see my sweet niece again!!!

My dad and Elise.

Cordelia. In case you are wondering she is growing out her’s a bit of a challenge.

Our meal was a bit challenging as we are dealing with veganism, serious food allergies, and other conditions. So I did my best to make sure that everyone had plenty to eat. Here is a fruit salad with berries, kiwi, oranges, mint and a splash of vanilla.

This is roasted veggies, quinoa, balsamic vinegar and some thyme.

A big salad.

Tofurkey and more roasted veggies.

Mashed potatoes.

The spread.

Turns out we all had more than enough to eat.

And plenty of left overs.

After linner it was Easter egg hunting.

The girls each had their own colors of egg to find. This was to avoid one kid finding more than the other.

They had a great time running through the yard like maniacs.

We adults enjoyed the show.

We also offered hints when needed.

It was sunny, and kinda warm.

Cordelia wore her pleather jacket over he sun dress.

Elise too.

My parents. I hope they are prepared to move with us...

Anyway, hope you had a happy Easter!
