On day eight of our trip we decided to head to Taos. Initially we had planned to pass through on our way south, but a thunderstorm had gotten in the way. So our return trip made room for a stop in Taos. We decided to check out the Fenchin House which was an unexpected treat. The gorgeous museum is in an historic home that houses a beautiful collection of art.
We really fell in love with this beautiful museum and highly recommend a visit if you find yourself in the area.
I mean look at this house!
After the museum we made a stop at Twirl, a toy store and insane outdoor play area.
Then we headed to Taos Pueblo which is amazing!
The Pueblo has been continuously inhabited for ten centuries!
The girls loved it, but struggled with the rule to not pet the dogs.
It was quite an experience.
After the Taos Pueblo we still had some driving to do, but took a different route north than we normally do and saw some beautiful country in NM and CO.
We ended our day at a hotel in Colorado. A quick swim in the pool and kids in bed.
Yesterday we made it back to Wyoming, but stopped for some play time in Cheyenne.
