Yesterday my mom, the girls, and I went to the waterfall.
Instead of following the trail back the girls wanted an adventure. For the girls that meant that we walked downhill in the creek.
It was really not much of a trek, but for the girls it was a wild adventure.
They had a grand time exploring, crouching under branches, navigating loose stones.
And when we made it down Cordelia insisted that we all put leaves in our hair to commemorate our wild adventure.
We all happily obliged.
And then it was out of the woods and back to the trail.
