Painting Lesson!

Some of you may recall that I am giving an overseas painting lesson (click here to read) to my blogger friend Shellyfish (her blog is here). We were talking about the fact that some of you may want to join in on the painting lessons.

If you are interested, the first tutorial is up. It is about 5 minutes long, but it will get you rolling if you want to join us or just watch along.

You can see the first lesson by clicking right here.

If you decide to join in, I would be so happy to hear about it. However, if you want to participate from the dark corners of the blogging world I will understand as well.

I love that we are sharing this! You know, this is like an amazing birthday present (my birthday is the 9th) - I just now thought of that. I also SO thought of you & Eric (or Erik sorry, I don't remember) today when I came across this quote "If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." Vincent Van Gogh

Oh, I am in for sure. It's Van Gogh! How can I not. I am working on an oil painting right now and will enjoy taking a break from that, this will be so fun. How nice of you to do this. You are so talented and so good at organizing so many different projects at once.
The music was fun. Who was it?

For those wondering the song is called "The Lions and the Cucumber" performed by The Vampire Sound Incorporation. It was created for the soundtrack of a 1970s vampire film, but it's more easily found on the soundtrack to Jackie Brown.

For some reason, I think I have too many running at the same time right now, I couldn't get the video to play. But I would like to join in the lessons.
