New Mexico Trip: Day 3

On the third day of our trip to NM we awoke to a bright sunny day. We ate and were ready to go early, which meant that Eric had some time to kill before his appointment.  Cordelia is interested in space, so we thought she'd love a visit to the SPACE HALL OF FAME.



We quickly learned that this wasn't fun for her, but rather frightening. She thought everything would shoot her off into space, in spite of our efforts to explain that none of the rockets/satellites/spaceships worked.


Ha ha, Elise is having a blast and poor Cordelia is not convinced.













About five minutes after we left Cordelia asked to go back, naturally.

Once we were all spaced out it was time to visit the Copeland's. Eric and Michael spent much of the morning discussing plans for the show and looking through artwork. We did manage to enjoy a little time together in between the work. Mostly I just hung out with Victoria and the girls.







Later, I went off with the girls to get out of the way of work. We met up with Eric's parents for a quick lunch and then he was back to work. The girls and I stayed behind. Cordelia went swimming with her grandmother and Elise napped.

Around dinner time we met back up with Eric, Michael, and Victoria. We drove out to the Turri's place to meet with artist Chris Turri (click here) and his lovely wife, before checking out their collection. Well, that's what Eric was doing. I was just socializing and entertaining the girls.

When we were done there it was time for dinner with Michael and Victoria. Victoria is an amazing cook and, just for us, she prepared a vegan feast!
