Well, Thanksgiving break is over, but Cordelia is not back to school yet. Poor girl woke up in the night not feeling well. She then proceeded to keep herself up for the rest of the night worrying that she would be too sick to go to school. So, now where we are somewhere between sick and exhausted, a little bit of both.
My work schedule is pretty flexible, something that has been tested this past week with the girls out of school. I have had to revert to my old ways of working later in the day and relying on Eric to take the solo role in parenting for a couple of hours here and there in order to stay on top of work.
Today I am alternating between cuddling a tired/sick girl and trying to get everything back in order after a week off from our routine.
Neither of us mind a little extra time to cuddle.
