Good Day On It's Way: Mittens and Muffins

My day is just getting started, but it is already going quite well!

A nice glass of orange juice! I just need OJ to feel like my day is going to be good. No OJ and I feel all wonky and confused.

Some fresh fruit. No, I am not going to eat it all. I will share with Eric and my Dad, who stayed here last night (we didn't keep him up too late Mom).

Blueberry muffins....yessssssssssssss. I have been on something of a muffin kick lately. Blueberry muffins are just the best, in my mind.

Finally, I received these Gorgeous hand-knit mittens from Carmen over at About a Girl. The mittens are from the Pay it Forward blog which you should read about. I am so excited about these little beauties. I am definitely on the bandwagon for mittens over gloves and I didn't have any mittens until just now. Yay!!!

So, as you can see after a very hectic period I am feeling relived, relaxed and ready for an amazing weekend. How has your week been? What are your weekend plans?

Winter Morning Bumblebee

Yesterday was a cold morning and Bumblebee was a bit shivery. So, I tucked her in with a little blanket as I left our morning snuggle. I headed out to work and left my husband and the girls.

When I got to work I had this little photo waiting in my email. You can click on the photo for a closer look. I just thought I would share because it is cuter than cute.

In other news, I won! Carmen from About a Girl notified me that I won her Pay if Forward Award. I am so excited. She wrote the kindest words in her blog and I was so happy I danced around the living room. I was so happy and so touched. What did I win? A pair of Carmen made mittens. I can't wait to get them! I will be sure and post a photo when they arrive. The award inspired me, so look for the next Kindness Bandit on Tuesday morning...
