Saturday night we had a birthday party at our friends’ house. Here is Elise, who was a smidge clingy (turns out she was getting sick), and me snuggling.

Sunday afternoon the girls were rewarded for their stellar effort in a school reading competition (both did the best in their classes, but the prizes were a random draw. So we too them to Catopia.

This mellow fellow took Cordelia’s enthusiasm in stride.

Elise and Eric charmed this cat to sleep.

Last Saturday we started the day with...donuts! Surprise!

I found this vintage globe at a thrift store and it now sits on a ledge above our front door.
