Top Heavy

They say that babies need "tummy time" each day, a period of time where you place your baby on their belly and watch as they struggle to keep their head up. Eventually they learn to scoot about and then crawl.

Cutie

Well, Cordelia can certainly hold her head up, but there is another issue she is really struggling with...

She's top heavy. Her legs just sort of shoot out into the air, kicking and never finding the ground. So, much of her "tummy time" is spent with me laughing as she flails her limbs about in the air.

What I use to love was seeing their little tongue stick out to the side as they try to move on their tummy...Arms and legs flaying about

Oooh, so cute! Cohen loved his tummy time and loved to try and pull his big old head up as far as he could. It does help them to roll over and crawl faster as they are strengthening all those muscles.

The laughs never stop, do they?! Babies always manage to pull funny faces or do cute funny things and it doesn't stop. Cohen is always making me laugh. I think when a lot of people tell you about parenting, about how hard and rewarding it is, they forget to say how funny it can be too!

Grace used to do the same thing - lol. She'd last 2 seconds, then put down her head and rest instead. Cordelia is beautiful and I love her ducky sleeper :)

So cute. I love the sunlight glimmering off her hair and the determined look on her face in the first picture. What a blessing!
