Outdoors ****Plus Bonus Survey Question

Yesterday evening the weather was absolutely perfect, the sun was shining, but not too brightly. The air was warm with just the subtlest of breezes to keep things moving along. Eric has been itching to get out and enjoy some tennis and I am just always itching to get outdoors when the weather is like this.

Sweet C

We went to the park and set up with our blanket (thanks Stacy) in the grass and relaxed. Eric went to the tennis court and practiced his serve for a while.

Tree

Tootsie

Cordelia was tentatively willing to check out the grass. She touched it with her hands and toes, but when she fell on her bum in the grass it was all a bit too much and she had to come back to me for a little mom time. It is so amazing to see her look at the world and realize that she is seeing most things for the first time. I wish I could recapture that awe for myself, but I am thrilled to watch her experience it all.

Crazy Bee

When Eric was done with tennis he rejoined the family troop. Bumblebee was ridiculously excited and made a spectacle of herself in a way that only dogs are capable of.

****Yesterday Eric shaved off his beard. When Eric does this he always has to stop mid shave and come let me see his ridiculous mustache, chin strap, or whatever he comes up with. Once he forces me to smooch him with creepy facial hair he shaves it off and nobody is the wiser. Anyway I have some photos and he won't let me share them. Who thinks we should put them out there for the world to examine? Maybe we can pressure him into it...maybe not.****

It has always been my experience that a mustache should be flaunted.

That is the funniest picture I have ever seen of Bumblebee. Josh always grows a beard around Christmas and when he shaves it off, he always does something that makes him look a little like someone off the TV show, Earl.

Thanks for your comment on my blog yesterday. You are so awesome!

Love the picture of Bumblebee. As for Eric, I totally DON'T wanna see the photos. I mean, not at all. ;-)

HA! jay makes me do the same thing everytime he shaves his beard. he has to flaunt the seventies porn star stache around the house. ugh. its giving me chills just thinking about it. and the bad kind of chills.

but yeah, show those pics!

just catching up with you . . .
i loved your "afternoon" post - i was there with you while i read it. my mouth was watering and my arm remembered the pleasant muscle-ache from the pressure of a sweaty baby-head . . .

and i say - yes! post those silly pictures. :)

You know, I'd like to see the photos but only if Eric changes his mind.

On a related note, whenever my husband shaves his beard, I ask him to grow it back. He looks like a 12 year-old without it!

I for sure what to see creepy hairy face husband!! Every November my husband participates in Movember (a fund raiser for men's health) in which you have to grow a moustache during the month of November, anyway, I really do not like Andrew with a moustache he looks like a seedy pimp man!!
