How this summer season has flown by. I can't believe how much life has changed in one season. The warm days of summer are still upon us, but it seems that each morning there are a few more golden leaves resting on the green grass of our lawn. We have definitely settled into August heat, warm and dry. Each day is just a bit shorter than the one before it. Soon enough we will be taking Cordelia to preschool (more on that to come) and then the heaters will be turned on, coats and scarves will migrate to the front of the closet.
While I can feel fall coming on, we are still enjoying the last long days of summer. Spending time in the backyard reading on a quilt, harvesting veggies from the garden and drinking lemonade. How are you spending the last days and weeks of your summer?
