When we tired of that it was time to head home for lunch and Elise's nap. Over lunch Cordelia talked about how much she loved nature. Elise slapped her food around the tray and laughed at her sister. It was good. Then it was nap time. Elise slept while Cordelia and I read some books and snuggled.
After Elise's nap we went out on the back porch to relax and play. There was chalk and play and a unicorn and investigating and it was lovely.
Later we took a nice evening walk with the entire family. It is these days, or their memory, that will pull me through a long winter.

What a beautiful day! These are memories that even the girls will cherish when older.
This is what i like about SAHM you "teach" your children about everything that matters!
Those are the coolest kind of days. We definitely did not get enough of those kind of days in this summer.
Tell me more about this nature table! Also, two other things: 1) Holy majestic unicorn! Awesome! 2) My little pony shirt? Way cool.
Looks like a perfect kind of day. I would rather be outside than in on nice days like that. And my girls would totally geek out over the My Little Pony shirt too.
