I spent last night listening as branches cracked and fall into the fresh snow. The power went out around midnight. No power means no heat. So it is feeling a little brisk in here. We are waiting for the power to return. I am blogging from the phone. We are wearing coats and pajamas and looking out the window as branches crash and fall.

I am so sorry you are going through winter weather in October. We have typical fall weather here and usually WE are the ones with the heavy snowstorms! Hope the car wasn't damaged.
Seems like winter came early all over the place.
So sorry! We get things like this down here with ice storms, so I understand. So glad you are all warm and safe.

With big storms like that, I always worry about the dogs. I don't want to let Rosy out if a branch might fall on her. Yet, she has to go out. Hope heat has been restored, your car is okay, and the girls enjoyed the "adventure!"
