My suitcase is packed, ready to be tossed into the car for our drive to labor and delivery. I have even packed a bag full of snacks and reading material for Eric and of course a small bag of stuff for the baby when she finally arrives. I have even put notes on my suitcase reminding me about last minute items like camera and cell phone. I have gone over my list of things to accomplish before the little one arrives. I keep cleaning and cleaning. Menus are planned for the next several months (overkill I know). So, now what am I going to do to occupy these final few days or weeks (please not weeks)?
Yesterday I got a little crafty and made myself some earrings from buttons. First I smoothed out the back. Next I used a little paint to age the buttons and give them a bit of an antique quality. Finally I affixed them to some posts and that was that. It took about 20 minutes and when I was done there was still no baby on the way. Can you tell I am getting a little anxious to meet her?
Do you have any suggestions for ways to use my time instead of being obsessive about meeting my little girl, because that is all I am doing at this point? I am just so excited!
