Star of the Week

Cordelia's preschool class has Star of the Week, giving each child a week to feel special. The  star gets to bring home a special bear shaped backpack and each day they put a toy/book/prize possession within the bear. They get to bring their toy to school to show. Also, the star makes a poster about themselves and it is hung prominently in the classroom for the week.

This week is Cordelia's turn. She spent the week in advance fretting about the poster/toy/etc. She gave a lot of thought into her position as class star. She wanted to make sure that the other students knew she was special, but didn't want others to feel left out. She's kind of awesome.

Yesterday was day one. She put lots of thought into her ensemble, settling on one of my old hats.
